EMOP BARCELONA 2012 – Joni´s blog

Hey,

Finally I got this blogpost written since it’s already been over a month after EMOP Barcelona. For me this was the one that I was really looking forward since Barcelona is my favourite city in the Europe and it was just 1 month before this when I final tabled EPT there. Cool place. This was 3rd EMOP for me this season and I already got victory at Estoril so the leader board was looking really good for me so I got my mind on that and focused to play my best and go deep. As you know, sometimes things just doens’t follow your plans.. In this particular tournament I was out already before the dinner break which means that I didn’t go that deep that I was planned to go, haha. So since this thing was over in less than 3 levels or so there wasn’t too many hands to brag with because I was basicly losing everyone after making always the 2nd best hand on the river and my draws didn’t get there even once.

Anyhow the trip overall was one of the best. Since Barcelona gives you so many opportunities to do everything from kite-surfing to a great nightlife that trip was perfect. I decided after busting the main-event not to play any side-events and just concentrating on other stuff.

In Barcelona we also had a superfun iGame photoshooting where we did all kind of shots for the websites I guess and those are probably gonna be on internet soon 🙂

That was story of Barcelona, next up EMOP Dublin next month! Time to put that green hat on and run good! Hopefully see you there!
